you wouldn't have the final blueprint for that would you? if i were to ever get a custom bumper it would be exactly like that. hopefully you can get me some dimensions so i can get started!
no, in fact our original measurements didn't pan out 100%. id say they panned out 95%. a few tips:

1) get pics and measurements from a build that you want to copy (i can do this for you when the time comes)
2) make a cardboard version of the bumper first to exact measurements.
3) make sure you think about structure in terms of actual holding strength -- that is, making a skeletal background to hold the thick metal, as well as making sure it has enough pull strength.

for the mounts we used my old hitch. we cut the arms off, and flipped em upside down. this was bc we knew they were strong enough, we knew the holes lined up, and because they were already cut to fit the frame.

beyond this, its up to your imagination!

wow a 3 year old resurection. At least you were involved in the original thread...LOL on my work computer so I dont know if any ot hte pics show up or not but would like to check it out when I get home.
