Rear bumper question

Has anyone installed a 2gen rear bumper on a 3gen. Came across a Trailgear rear bumper for a 2gen at a decent price, but it’s about an hour away, a bit far if it won’t work. I do have a welder so if it’s just fabing up mounts that’s not a problem. Any input would be appreciated.

Never tried myself but research in the past said it was way different s would not fit without major modifications

The mounts are completely different. So you’d have to modify the mounts. And who knows how it would fit.
