Any thoughts on making an aluminum version for those of us that are not going to bash it hard, but want the utility. Maybe keeping the factory hitch to save cost and development time?

Be great to knock the weight down as much as your aluminum Blitz bumper did. Realizing it would cost more. Only one aluminum bumper out there as far as I know and researching rear bumpers aluminum comes up regularly.

I think the only two Al2+ bumpers out there are the Heftyfab and Coastal Off-Road DIY kit.

Is there a licence plate mount solution available for those who may only want to use one adventure carrier but use it with the dual jerry can carrier instead of the tire carrier or at least retain that flexibility of swapping out the mounts?

also, I will be using 315/70r/17 ko2's. based on the photos above it looks like theres about an inch(?) of gap between the 265's and the jerry cans.
will the 315's even fit?

is there some type of adjustability sideways of the jerry can holder?

There is now more adjustability in the jerry can holder from left to right. You should be able to mount it with 315's no problem. I'm not sure about a left carrier with the ladder. How far is the outside of the ladder from the tailgate?

We do not have a separate license plate mount for that case, but you should be able to mount the outer portion to of the license plate mount to the top CB hole on the carrier.

Rear end update. If anyone is looking for a nice place to mount a shovel and or Axe, etc it will fit behind the swing out with quickfists. Just drill a couple of holes and throw some black spray paint on there for prevent rust.

Left side carrier will eventually get 2 x 3gal roto pax and 2x 2gal water pax. Or 2 x 3 gal rotopax and then 1 more 2 gal rotopax and 1 x 2 gal water pax.

It would be possible to mount the camera mount somewhere else, you may need to drill holes in order to do so. The 4th Gen we test fit on did not have a camera. Based on photos, it looks like a passenger-side swing-out would only block part of the peripheral view of the camera.

The light cutouts are not designed for flush-mounted lights. Any standard single-post mounted 3"x3" cube light will work!

made a custom bracket with some home depot steel and a drill press & 2 cycle engine oil. it also puts the camera in damn near the stock location.

Bought another company's license plate mount, but could have made my own.

I also flipped the bolts and used weld nuts so it would not rub in the gas can. my switch them out for rivet nuts.

I've been wanting to move my spare from underneath to out back.
I've been thinking of moving the camera from the stock location, straight up, to the spoiler right beside the wiper. Not sure what that would entail as I've never peeked inside there.
On the other hand. I really don't need the camera. For 35 years I've driven a 68 F100 with a camper, so I haven't had even a useable inside mirror. Also, I drive an 18-wheeler, so I do pretty good with just outside mirrors.
I personally have more use for a front facing camera when offroading.
Has anyone else looked into moving the camera to the spoiler? I guess it's a matter of what you want to see. If you want to see your rear bumper clearance (straight down) it might not be as good. If you want to see people or cars coming by as you back out of a parking spot, then it would be fine.

Still haven't decided if I'm going to get a driver side swing-out or just stick with the pass side only for the tire, since I'mnot sure if overlanding is in my near future and most trail runs can be done without much need for extra gas if you don't head out low (nice thing about the modular design, I can add on if I need it). Suppose I can always wire in an after-market camera instead of the factory unit if I have to, since the runner I'm buying has it displaying on an aftermarket HU screen anyway. I do need to find out if the HU can run 2 cameras since a spotting camera up front is a good idea for crawling in a vehicle I'm not yet used to.

I currently have my spare 285/70/17 MT under the back of my 4runner and rather like the set up for now. I am thinking I want to run this bumper with no swing outs and still keep that spare under the back. Anyone have any idea how this bumper impacts room for a spare tire underneath? Pictures of underneath with our without a spare underneath would be helpful.

The spare will still fit in its factory location. You will probably have a little more tire visible from the rear because the Victory bumper is cut higher. I don't have pictures at the moment but could get some later today when I get home from work. The will just be open space pictures, though, as I removed all of my spare tire mounting system.

The bumper doesn't change the amount of room you have for the spare. You will still be able to fit your 285/70/17 underneath :thumb3:

The bumper won't interfere, but a left carrier would.
