Did you take out the rear proximity sensors prior to cutting off the. Bumper or disconnect afterward?

Mine is a 2012. It doesn't have proximity sensors, just a rear camera.

I can’t get those 19MM bolts to catch the frame. Anyone else have the same issue?

Figured it out. I used tightened one 17MM bolt from the factory tow hook and then was able to get the new 19MM bolts in

Looks like the cut turned out great. Was your measurement 5” from the side body line like in the video? What was your measurement at the rear to connect the side cut (under the taillights)?

I used 5" on both sides and 8.75" down from under the tail lights since my limited has a more curved transition from the bumper cover under the tail lights to the lower bumper cover.
I have a few little imperfections that were my fault with the angle grinder and the cut off wheel but you can't really tell until you are up close. I think I'm going to throw on some black pinch weld cover to make it look a little better.

Overall I'm about 98% done with only 2 issues I'm going to try and remedy tomorrow.
1. The 2 large bolts underneath that go into the frame will not reach and there is a gap the same thickness as the spacer used on the front. I had to use the spacer in the front to keep the bumper level with the body cuts as per the instructions. I'm going to pick up some longer 10.9 bolts tomorrow with some thick washers to full in the gap as a temporary fix. I'm hoping that Victory can send me two spacers the same thickness as the front spacers with holes that match up to those large bolts so it has a clean finished look rather than some washers.
2. My Method Race wheels take a small diameter spline lug nuts so a socket won't fit to use the lug nuts provided with the universal carrier. Likewise, the lugs used for the universal carrier don't appear to be the same thread pattern as the stock 4runner lugs since my lugs won't thread on so I can't simply steal a couple lug nuts until I can gets some spares enroute. Looks like I'll have to buy spline nuts the same size as the lugs on the carrier, or buy new press in lugs that have the stock 4runner pattern. I would rather keep the thread patterns all the same in case I ever need a quick replacement lug for the truck.
Victory's CS has been great so I'm thinking they will help me out somehow.

Man, that seems like a really weird oversight on a 4runner specific bumper.

I'm guessing it's because the tire carrier is listed as a universal carrier and Jeep lugs are probably larger. I can't remember. I sold my TJ in 2003.

You can install the studs without an impact if you don't have one. Bumper looks great!

I tried with a torque wrench. Couldn’t figure it out lol. It’s an excuse for a new tool. Don’t tell my wife.
