Rear Bumper

Anyone tried modifying one of these for a 3rd gen 4Runner? Width is right, but the ends that poke around the corners are different. Way cheaper than buying 3rd gen specific.

I drive a '99 SR5 and am interested in changing out the rear bumper also. The Jeep bumper you referenced looks like an
$800 DIY to me. Potential issues include rear deck clearances and alignment with the under carriage. My reaction is, There has got to one a better option.I will follow your efforts closely and I wish you good luck Wirth the project.
