Rear compartment shelf removal

I just purchased a 2007 Ltd w/ the rear shelf that lifts onto the wheel well covers. I need to remove it b/c it robs me of an inch and a half of height back there. Are there any secrets to doing this? I'm gonna just go back and see how many screws I can find, and go from there.

Anybody want this shelf once it's out? Tan interior.

I just removed that shelf yesterday, its really easy. Take 2 bolts at the back 10mm, then lift little cover right behind seats and remove 2 more bolts on each side and that is it

i have same shelf folding shelf and rarely use it and i wish i could remove it...the only reason i wont is that it creates a flat floor which is good, esp for those that carcamp

i bet someone will take that shelf for that same reason
