Rear Diff Drain Plug Fit Transfer Case?

I want to put a magnetic drain plug in my transfer case. Stock is not magnetic. If I remember right, the drain plug for the rear Diff looks identical except it has a magnet.

Can I just buy a rear Diff Drain plug and swap it?

You don't need a magnetic drain plug in your tcase. But, if you really want to you can use the same ones. The threads and diameter are the same but be advised you can buy tall magnets or short magnet plugs.

I'm assuming I don't need one because there's already a magnet inside the t case?
