Rear Diff flush...

How much gear oil will I need to fill the rear diff? The breather plug clogged up and the axle seals blew out so among other repairs I'll be draining what's left of the gear oil and refilling. Anyone ever left the wheel bearings after being washed out? I figure I'll just leave them be and see what happens but I wonder how long they will last...

There's not really a flush to do, and you literally can't overfill it unless you try and fill it through the breather hole or something. Unless you ran the thing bone dry for several miles, I expect your bearings are fine. Drain what's in there, do the seals, then fill it back up until oil pours out the fill port. It'll be about 2.5 quarts.
