Rear disc brakes ?

so in the next few weeks I plan to do the big tundra disc brake upgrade up front and at the same time replace LBJ's with OEM ( truck has 150k with original LBJ's) as soon as I sell my corolla

but was wondering, did or has anyone done a conversion to rear disc brakes ?
Do they make a kit ?

If not....why not ?

thanks
when I did the search I just typed in rear disc brake and nothing came up, but maybe I misspelled something and did not catch it

I would either do a swap or do a full float conversion. I wouldn't go out of my way to get rear discs, more of a "bonus" for doing something more valuable like the aforementioned.

Fror makes a full float conversion for the 8". Kinda spendy. I am working through this mod. There is a ton of thinking you need to do before jumping on something like this. It isn't as simple as it seems.

For general users and even for mild offroaders I wouldn't recommend a rear disc setup or the FROR full-float kit. It's a lot of time and money. Unless you're using either conversions to their full potential (especially the full float conv) you're not going to see ANY difference.

1) In both cases, you have to rid of rear ABS
2) In both cases, you will lose e-brake unless you spend extra money and modification to get it back.
3) Both cost a good chunk of money (especially full float conv)
4) Both conversions are not for the average wrencher.

I'm not telling anyone how to spend their money.. I'm only suggesting to look at another upgrade or mod that one might benefit from more.
