Rear drum weight fell off

I replaced a wheel stud today and one of the 2 drum weights fell off. Should I get it welded back on (rebalanced at a shop) or just spend $50 and replace the drum?

Would a new drum need balanced?

I'd try some JBweld first, that should do it, clean surfaces well and mix it proportionally correct and you're there. Luck!

you don't need to do anything. you wont notice it.

I have removed many drum weights to make clearance for wheels, and also have seen many that had just fallen off. without LOOKING at them, we didn't know.

its a non issue.
