Rear end question

There is a weird knocking/popping sound coming from my rear axle. I had my buddy rock the truck back and forth to find where it was coming from. It sounded like the noise was coming from the driver side of the axle. Perhaps it could be a wheel bearing? I also hear it when I take off or put the truck in gear quickly. any input would be great. thanks.

Not really a whole lot of info. If you can hear it whilst the truck is off by rocking it, sounds suspension related. Pics, perhaps. Pooped shock?

Yeah you need to do more diagnosing and provide more info. And in the process of trying to find where its coming from, you probably will. Could be as simple as the sway bar end link
