rear king shock / coil spring question

I am looking to put the King 25001-334 shock on my 4 runner and was told that shock is a stock bolt in replacement and will not work with a lift or longer coils in the rear.

Currently I have OME 2906 stock replacement coil springs in the rear and was going to buy the toytec superflex spring 024RCB here soon and install those with the king shocks and long break line.

I saw in one post I need to order the King 25001-334A and tell king the lift I have in order to get a shock that will not bottom out. can anyone confirm this?

Sorry I can't help directly but have you tried to call Toytec? I am pretty sure they sell King's and if you are looking at their coils, I suspect they could tell you.

King Shocks are not meant to work with lifts over 1"-2" max. They have to be custom built if you are wanting to run a 2"-3" lift.

So running your super flex coil can I just tell king to add 3" to the extended length and be ok?

What is the extended length of your boss shocks?

I'll use a limit strap to keep it from bottoming the shock but don't want to limit travel by 3 inch if I have to run the stock king shock
