Rear lift.........maybe a dumb question

Just wanted to ask if the shocks had any bearing on the ride height? I'm looking at replacing the rear shocks and currently have the extended billies with the 861's and a trim packer. I'm removing the trim packer to reduce some height. There's just too much rake.

Unless they are adjustable coilovers, no.

In the rear of the truck, shocks would not have any effect on ride height
