Rear lift springs ???

One of my Rear Lift Supports has gone out and when i called the stealership they wanted $160 a piece, found some at local auto store but they all seem to be universal. I don't know which PSI to purchase, the dealership said they don't have that information just part numbers, which i think is BS. The universal ones are only $30 and would prefer to but these but don't want to get the wrong ones and have them not be strong enough to lift the hatch... anyone ?.

Its not BS. I worked parts for 4 years and hated customers like you. Im sure you told them "you're lying, whats the PSI". They literally have part #s and thats all. They also could give a shit less what you "want" to know.

Buy amazon moog springs and be on your way for the same price.
You're in Sacramento, near me. I have my stock springs you can have.

Sparky and T101 thanks for the links, much appreciated and being my first post on here was surprised at the response time.

LTDSC- Thank you for solidifying why dealerships suck. I didn't say " you're lying " as I'm sure Toyota doesn't want that information out otherwise no one would ever purchase them from the dealership. Although i did say " could you ball park it for me ? " to which he said "nope". The BS part i was referring too was Toyota not allowing that information out, nothing to do with the parts guy. I think even you would agree $160.00 for a little gas shock to hold the back hatch open is a little much. That being said, if you are willing to part with your extras id be grateful.
