Rear Lower Control Arm

Sorry to revive an old subject. My '99 has recently began the "Death Wobble"...or at least that's what is referred too on my old Pathfinder. Wondering if the fix for 4Runners is the same, which was replacing the rear lower control arms. Also, I saw it mentioned earlier in this thread the RA Mevotech might not be the route to go. So what do you long time users recommend for this fix and what brand?

If not, is it more shock related than control arms or a combination of both? Completely new here as I have owned the vehicle for less than a year.

Are you lifted at all? If so your death wobble could be related to the panhard bars position.

Thanks tx_shooter. I just replied to another thread regarding shocks. I'm a little confused as which to buy...

Which LCA's did you buy...OEM or other?

I went with Rokmen arms. They fit my needs, offered increased strength for off roading, and had the right price tag. I seemed to have had the luck installing them. I was in and out with all of it in under an hour. I have more info in my build thread with some pics too.

As for shocks - I have been really happy with my ToyTec lift w/ shocks. I have almost 100,000 miles on the rear shocks and the boots are sowing some wear finally. I will probably upgrade them to the remote reservoir shocks from ToyTec soon.

Anyone know the bolt size on links for the rear suspension? I want to order some grease able bolts but want to get it right the first time. They look like the shaft is 1/2" but I want to be more sure before ordering.

They are metric. Sorry, can't remember the diameter.
