I like the idea… not the price. And then you have a looooong and winding run for the wires to the reverse lights.

Yes, the holes are already there and no drilling is required. I simply reused the 10mm bolts in them to attach the light brackets. As for the wiring, there's a rubber plug / grommet on the driver side about a foot forward of the rear bumper. We ran the wiring up through a hole in that plug and back to the left tail light to grab power and ground. Perfectly reversible for your lease.

Brake, reverse and turn signal are available into the hitch harness, I would tap there with a harness extender:

I've been kicking around the idea of mounting these in the flat spot sports on each side of the rear spoiler. Not sure I want to cut into my spoiler quite yet though.

The other thing to consider is if you want to use them when the rear hatch is open, that location won't work.

Nice… really like Diode Dynamics. Agreed, I’d hate cutting the spoiler. And ya, my set up is useless with the hatch up. (I installed bright DD LEDs to replace the OEM hatch lights… good enough for now at a campsite, etc.)

Somewhat. I couldn’t tell you the actual angle. They aren’t too bad for my application.

And YES Honda… can’t see any of my wiring unless you know where to look[emoji109].

my s2's are mounted on the under side of the rear cross bar and theyre great as dust lights but not as area lights unless youre away from the back. off the side angled down would prolly work better as an area light for the back. but i wanted low profile and only as dust lights

While on this topic…

My usual stance when it comes to buying things is “cry once” However, I like to cheap out every now and then to see what’s out there and if it really will fit my need.

For example, my rear lights:

Bought two pair. Disassembled each one and beefed up the “waterproofing” with some silicone. Grabbed some lamin-x and changed a pair to yellow for chase lights. Both sets tied into my Switch-Pros. The latter are programmed to flash if needed.
