Rear parking brake cable change?

So my cars getting finished up at the ship and they wanted 334 to change the rear parking cable. I can save 134 if I buy it myself, I'm going to look but I'm for damn sure it's cheaper than that. Has anybody done this before? Is it hard? I'd appreciate any help, I tried googling quic but didn't come up with anything.

Where you able to replace the rear parking brake cables? Any photos or guidance you have on how the cable is attached at the console end? What I need to do to install the new cable end. I know how to remove the console. Thanks for your help.

The parking brake cable comes in one piece. From in handle to the drum brakes. There is a bracket with bolt by the edge of the gas tank and the rest of the hookups are on the axle housing itself. What are you trying to change or what to replace? Mostly the bellcranks rust solid and you can take them apart clean and grind them down a little to make them function properly. If the cable is binding in the bracket of the equalizer itself. This being the cable from the handle back not rusty swivel point. It's best to just replace the cable. We had to do that in the 97 limited.
