rear power window problems

I've got an 87' with some electrical issues. The key switch on the gate, stopped operating the rear window a long time ago. Now the switch inside isn't working. Anybody have a wiring diagram for this switch? I took it apart, and it looks like there's a little fuse? on the side. Any advice on rigging my own switch? Is there anything else in the line that could cause this problem? I'm not really sure how to troubleshoot this, so any advice would be helpful.

repair manuals that you can get in your local auto parts shop has wireing diagrams in them

The diagram in the chilton book is very basic. What I really need is a diagram for the switch.

if you still reading this thread i may be able to help, i have a bad switch on my 93 and i just took it apart today, what looks like a fuse is actuall a light to light the switch at night, and that takes care of the 2 outer most wires on the harness(all they do is power the light, nothing else), that leaves 3, on mine i wanted to make sure that the problem was the switch so i striped down the remaining 3 wires and jumped from the center to each of the remaining two and the window went up and down(so my problem is defenately the switch) but i hope the wireing insight helps
