Rear seat conversion?

Found a couple of nice 4runner front seats and was wondering if it would be at all possible to stick them in the rear in place of the back bench. Who likes riding ***** anyway? Lol

Why not? You just have to drill some new holes, reinforce them from underneath, maybe redo seatbelt mounts. Piece of cake.

Are you doing this just for extra room to put sh*t? Or are you doing it for comfort? I personally like the bench seat better and wish there was one in the front of my 4runner. The bench in my old 1998 Dodge Ram was the most comfortable I have ever been in one of my vehicles.

A little more leg room and a place to put stuff.

Just remember it will sit quite high because of the bump in the floor... tall people will hit their heads on the roof. It's been done tho, would be easier with a relocated gas tank.

I dont see it as being worth the time. Bench seat is way more practical and gives you way more room with it being able to fold down. He many people really ride in your back seat anyways.

Fixed it fer ya!

:peace:

Shotem all, ley God sortem out is my analogy. No lead would be wasted, all put to good use. Socialist HC won't last the next Republican. Lets just hope we get a better offering in a candidate For me it is the Libertarian box from here on out. Absolute total disgust with the fools who bankrupted our country. Dem and Reps. Both suck.

On the seat issue my 88 has low back buckets and the 88 sr5 I bought for the engine high back. Seems the low back would be the choice for rear buckets. I don't see an advantage though, just pile crap in the back seat and it won't get under it and lost.

Vote em all out, and make term limits THE LAW!

As for the back seat. I took out the backs so I had room to sleep in the back when I go weekend wheeling. Gives me a lot of room to move around now.
