Rear spoiler installed

I have installed a rear spoiler on my 4Runner and just want to share some picks. This is an after market spoiler (with LED light) that come already painted. This is a 2003-2004 style i.e.

Good, that you installed it yourself as you are more carefull than those guys in the shop. And few bodyshops have experience in installing 4Runner spoilers.

Nobody will tailgate you now LOL!. :cool:
 
I love that spoiler!!! Do not care for the one with a "hump".

Where did you buy it? And how difficult and long was the install?

Doubt if tape is strong enough. All the spoilers I've seen are bolted on.

I sure was in hopes it was bolted on. I don't trust the tape and glue stuff being used on many trucks and Autos. today.

No, those are guide strips to help you drill the holes in correct locations, spoiler is held by 4 screws (6 mm).

Great I use the spoiler as a hand grip to stand up on rear step when washing my 4Runner. Sure did not want it getting ripped off and me falling off.:bash:

I got it from e-bay. I did some research and as far as I can tell all aftermarket spoilers are probably made by the same company :-))They all made from ABS blow molded plastic and all claimed to be OEM certified replacements; all seems to use 3 coats of paint and 2 clear coats. My main goal was to get one with

I just got the same spoiler for my 07 from eBay. I'm looking to install it this week. Did you get instructions with it? Mine just came with the bolts and some strips.
