Rear suspension install how to?

I'm looking for a rear suspension install how to and haven't been able to find anything. I did find a few but with mixed directions on what to disconnect. The all pro one everyone seemed to like is no longer online anymore.

I am unsure on what to disconnect since I've rear some people have disconnected stuff they shouldn't have. What do I need to disconnect in order to be able to install 1.5 spacers on the rear

Support rear of vehicle by jack stands on the frame, remove rear wheels.

Remove upper and lower shock bolts and remove the shocks.
Disconnect the sway bar.
Use additional floor or bottle jack to maneuver axle to where you can remove/replace the springs.
Reconnect sway bar.
Install shocks, shock bolts, wheels.

Where on the sway bar to you disconnect. The bracket that attaches it to the axle, the sway bar link that attaches to the sway bar, or the top of the link that attaches to the frame with the rubber bushings?

I tried doing the links to sway bar and couldn't get the link to slide out of the sway bar

do you have KDSS? if not I would do the link where the bushings are at the frame. Are you doing this now?

I am but I'm at another station for dinner so not at it right now. Need to finish up tonight to be able to drive home tomorrow

So far I have the wheels and one shock off

station..? do you have spring compressor tool? I needed tool to get springs back in with spacer, or you will need a big friend and a pry bar to slide springs back in. have friend stand on axle to get it to drop and pry bar to try and slide spring back over spring seat on top of axle.

Jeremy gave you the correct info. The only trick is jacking the truck up absolutely as high as possible then putting jack stands underneath as high as you can set then. Disconnect sway bar at frame towards front of vehicle. Also disconnect the abs(?) wire that connects to the lower links. Then jack up on the axle as much as you can with out lifting truck off stands on the opposite end you mean to work on that should free up the springs.

The springs will literally fall out without the need of a compressor if you jack the truck up high enough and articulate the axle fully.

True. The compressor helped getting the new taller ones in for me. You're correct tho, it can be done without.
