Replaced the driver side bearing along with the bearing retainer cup. The axle still has movement in/out about 1/16. Starting to think this is normal.
When I removed the old retainer cup with the “semi old oem bearing”. And just bolted the retainer cup with the bearing inside to the axle housing. The bearing it self did not move in or out. However it had normal movement on the middle race of the bearing in/out. Same as the this NEW OEM BEARING.
I have few videos I’ll upload tomorrow. Long story short. Replacing the bearing retainer cup and bearing did not eliminate any movement. Still has about 1/16 of movement.
The rear diff was rebuilt by ECGS. Just the bearings. So I’m sure they would of told me if something was wrong. Axle shaft looks normal. Plus has not been abused.
