rear wheels off center after lift and pan hard drop

just installed the ultimate kit with 890's and welded in the panhard drop and the passenger rear wheel sticks out further than the driver side .

i thought the toytec drop was suppose to fix that ?

should i now get the adjustable panhard bar to run with the drop ?

If you just recently installed the lift you may want to see how the springs settle... I did before purchasing the panhard bracket

Your supposed to center the axle after bolting the drop in but before tightening it up and welding...

well that really sucks , i guess i have to cut it off and reweld it .

do you put it on with the tires in the air or with it on the ground under its own weight ?

it also wouldn't hurt to loosen the bolts on your upper and lower control arms with the 4Runner off the ground, and then properly re-torque them to the correct specifications (64 and 107 ft-lbs) with the 4Runner back on all four wheels with everything (i.e. new lift components) settled in place...

talked with toytec today and they told me i dont have to have the truck sitting on the ground and panhard bar installed to weld in the drop . not sure if i trust that though

reventdead is 100% correct, the panhard is to locate you axle. it must be welded in sitting on all 4s level and with full weight. If you weld it with it off the ground it will not let you axle swing back over into the correct position

I'm going to cut it loose and reweld it with the rear aligned sitting on the ground .

Toytec called me back and told me I should weld it sitting on the ground too

I told them they sent me no instructions and he told me they don't have any . But the are thinking about making some up .

$50 buck for a chunk steel and 2 bolts I think it's the least they can do!
