Rear window button on key fob activates alarm instead

2006 SR5 V8.

A few weeks ago my battery power cable came loose and I lost power for about 5 minutes while I was troubleshooting why it wouldn't start. I was able to reprogram my windows and rear window fine, but every time I try to roll down the rear window with the key fob button it automatically activates the alarm instead.

Is there something I missed in reprogramming the windows? I even took apart the key fob to check if there's something in there that could press against the panic button on the back, but nothing. Anyone ever experienced this? OEM factory remote, no physical damage that I can see.

Never had that happen after re-initializing windows. Do you have a port/dealer added alarm or an after market alarm?

My dealer added alarm is a Guardian CPL 100. There is a small push button drilled into the back end of my driver's side kick panel just to the left of my left foot. The manual has sequences to adjust or program the alarm.

I'm fairly certain there's not an aftermarket alarm installed, but I'll have to look more closely under the dash. I don't see any wire taps or extra wiring, but it could be a very well hidden system. Thanks.

The actual unit is a small box behind the driver's side kick panel. The little button on the kick panel will lead you to it.

On my dash left of the steering wheel are the extra button blanks (for SR5 and SE, not Limited) and there is a small red led that blinks when I lock and arm the truck. That red led would tell you if you have an alarm.
