Rear Window Decal Viability

Greetings all,

For those of you with operational back of truck windows with external decals...do the decals hold up over after moving the window up and down a few dozen times (over time, not all at once)? I notice most put decals on their side windows but not very many on the back window...wondering if this is because they don't last in that location unless you never roll down that window. :drum:

You can see the T4R.ORG sticker on the rear window in my avatar that I put on and created many years ago and thousands of window up and down cycles ago. Still looks like new. One of the reasons we bought our 2004 4Runner to replace our Cherokee was for the back window and a big reason I'm looking at new 4Runners instead of Wranglers for the next vehicle - I use it a lot. One of my college student sons put a white UT Horns sticker on the top of the window, sticker made out of similar material, and it's holding on just as well.

Haven't had any problems with mine other than friggin fading from desert sun !!

Use my rear window all the time and my decals are as good as new.

same as above. did make sure I put the decal on while the window was warm being out in the sun all day at work. put it on, made sure no bubbles, and then parked it inside the garage afterwards.

didn't roll down the window for a few warm days so it would set and I haven't seen any part peel yet, even during the -20F winters.


but the only sticker I have on the back is the T4R.ORG sticker.
