Rear window defroster doesn't work in some places

As stated in the title most strips on the bottom work just a few on the top dont work and none of them work on the rear side windows, theres a bunch of this brown stuff on the rear defroster which I believe is that liquid rear defroster repair but its obviously not working, any other possible causes to this?

Guessing you have cracks/breaks on some of the defroster lines on back window. Best method to fix would to replace.

Side window should be an antenna vs. defroster so wouldn’t defrost anyway.

I have seen a product (name is slipping my mind at the moment) that allows you to repair broken defroster grid lines, this of course will only work if some are working, and the defroster isn’t completely dead, but from the sound of it, I don’t think that’s your issue. I have never tried it myself, but it’s worth a shot! Believe the website in question was called “frost fighter”. I’ll do a search to try to find it again.

Side window should be an antenna vs. defroster so wouldn’t defrost anyway.

What do you mean antenna? I checked both with a electrical tester and none work the rear window works now as I put some grid repairer stuff on that I found at Walmart but there is no power going to any of the side windows

What he's saying is that the grids/lines you see on the side rear windows are not defrosters, they are the stereo antenna, and works just like vehicles that have the antenna inbedded in the windshield.
