Rear Window Screw up!

Ok, so I did something dumb! I stuck an NFL window flag on my rear window, rolled it up and it was fine until dumb me, just from pure habit, turned on the rear wiper from a recent rainfall. The wiper hit the plastic support from the flag and got stuck there. When I got home, I tried to hit the window button to roll down the window to take the flag out but it wouldn't work. I tried to use the key on the back door and that didn't work either. So, not sure what else to try. Is there a manual way to roll the window down a little to remove the flag?

The window won't roll down until you get the wiper back down onto it's resting point.

Maybe try carefully breaking and or cutting (with wire cutters or similar tool) the plastic flag support away from the wiper.

Thanks for the tips-- I was able, with the help from a friend, get the wiper to reset back into the off position by pulling it away from the window slightly so it didn't hit the flag. Won't be doing that again!

could of unbolt the wiper arm and reinstall it after you cycle it.
