Rear Wiper

My rear wiper and rear washer is not functioning. I checked the fuse which is ok. Any suggestions or common problems? I have an extended warranty but if its a easy fix i rather not waste my time at the dealer.

You may want to check and make sure that your back window is ALL the way up.

You might want to check all your fuse boxes - mine has three separate areas for fuses. I had a fuse blow and went crazy until I realized that there was more than one fuse box.

There are times I think my '04 gets a little "confused" on the rear window. The best remedy that can be done on-the-fly is to roll the back window down a little bit and then completely back up.

Also if you disconnected your battery at all it will do that. Roll the back window all the way down and hold the button for a second past then all the way up and hold the button down for a second past when its done. This will reset it.

There really needs to be a sticky about how to make the truck re-learn the "fully closed" position for the rear window to enable all its features, as well as the auto-up driver's window and moonroof features. This is probably the most common question on here and it's such a simple fix.

Most of the time the relearning procedure is just doing it 3 times... i.e. to set the Auto function on your Driver's Window, roll it down and up 3 times.
