reciever hitch

does anyone know if a company makes an after market hitch for the 4runner? It looks like there are pre drilled holes in the frame work.

Does yours not have one already? I dont think anyone makes a rear hitch because they come with one from thefactory. They do make aftermarket hitches for the front if that's what your asking.

i do mean for the rear, I wanted something bolted to the frame rails so i could use a load leveling hitch. Im not sure how the factory hitch will hold up towing a travel trailer with a load leveling hitch. anyone here use one before?

Gotcha............... The 5th Gen hitch design does not follow general frame mounting hitches typically used for a WDH. I don't suppose that means you couldn't do it. I read a few people have used a WDH hitch on the 5th gen with "no problems", but I think your skirting the edge of the design. I haven't looked into this toooo much though, hopefully someone will come along that has researched.
