Recommendation for iphone mount

I used my iphone for gps services, app called Waze, and realized i need a holder or mount that fits the 2015 limited. I prefer one that does not suction to the windshield but rather clips onto the dash, between the center air vents or something like that. Can you recommend one? I have both a iphone 5 and 6 so universal is good but will take what i can find.

Any pics would be appreciated too.

Thx

Try This

I use proclips in every one of my vehicles.

I like the proclip quite well but have 2 questions. One, can it be mounted over the hazard light button instead of in front of the air vent? I live in florida so max air flow from the vents is important during the summer. Second, it sounds like i will only be able to use one of my 2 phones since the cradle that holds the phone is custom vs universal. Is this true? I would prefer a mount that allows me to use either the iphone 5s or the 6.

Here's my $10 solution:

Easy to view my iPhone vertically, horizontally, or rotated so a passenger can see. It doesn't interfere with my view of the road nor my view of the clock.

The holder is designed with a suction cup that won't work in that location because it is not flat. But it does come with an adhesive plastic pad for uneven surfaces. I used the adhesive side on the dash and then I super-glued the suction cup to the plastic. It is all quite stable now, and I can remove the holder sometime in the future if I choose.

For the price, i am going to get one of these for one of my off road vehicles in addition to a mount for my 4runner. I found a imagnet design that is really clean and i like too.

Bilbo, might ck your cd player, looks like a bird got stuck in there, see his feathers in the pic

I have ted may mounts and all left me dissatisfaced at some level. This is until I was introduced the the Nite Ize Steelie phone mount. I currently use it on my Iphone 6 plus with Magpul case. I cut a hole in the case to accomedate the phone side mount, my only complaint that they dont have this as a manufacturer. Option. This side attaches to a rare earth magnet on the vehicle side. Very easy you just set on and turn afjust to the desired angle. Then to remove you just lift it up. They also make a vent mount. I will take some photos tomorrow. I can see how this mount will be very popular when others find out about it like cb mic mount gps mount etc. Here are the factory pics attached.

I suppose I would seem childish if I admit I just stand my Android phone up vertical over the binnacle for the speedometer in my 2013.

I got Google Maps, I got Waze, I got some rest room one, I got GPS Essentials, I got US Topo Maps, sure wish there was one that could do it ALL - Offline maps, here is the route, here is the weather, here is the traffic jam, here is the cops, here is the chick flashing her rack, and here is where you kids can pee.

We went to the Smokey Mountains, and dumb ass here forgot to do an offline map save.

Scosche MagicMount

I'm currently running this:

http://www.amazon.com/SCOSCHE-Magic...29636838&sr=1-1&keywords=scosche+iphone+mount

Its great because it uses a thin metal plate between your case (who doesnt have a case??) and your phone to attach to the soft magnet (see pics in the amazon link). If you have an android, I believe the metal plate is thin enough to fit between the battery and battery cover. Its fairly stable even when going over bumps and you don't have to snap your phone to anything, you just stick it on the magnet with the case on.

I'll try to snap some photos later, I've got it mounted to the same place as 2010riddle
