I installed my sliders as a step...just install them so they are flat. Its been a lot easier for my wife (5'5'') and my mom (5') to get in. They aren't any higher up than the running boards would be. You can see some pics in my build thread.

Exactly what they said, scrap the running boards. Weld on the sliders,slap on some grip tape and that's twice as effective as a running board. Rocker panel protection and a step to help the vertically challenged. Hell I'm stock right now with nor running noards and my gf that is 4'10 says it needs to come up!

All of you were right, after having the sliders welded on Im glad I did it, it looks freaking awesome!

I think you are doing a good job so far, but i am kinda confused on the rig do u wanna stay street or do you wheel it? You got the lift, sliders, bumpers and then u have 20s with street tires?? SO my question is when you gonna get some MEAT ON UR RIG!!!

I like how my build is going cept the rims, I made a mistake getting 20s so I'll be sizing down at some point
