I think my ac compressor is on its last miles. Its still blowing cold air but its starting to squeel when the clutch kicks in. When it finally bites the dust how much freon will my 97 take after I replace the compressor?
Try applying some pressurized air into the AC clutch (not engaged). It may be the drive belt. Try all this before you start pulling out the compressor.
You add enough gas until the filter glass becomes clear (no air bubbles).
