Selling my old '86 Turbo PU, what an awesome little truck. Traded it in on a '92 Eclipse GSX thinking I wanted a sportscar. Ended up being a big P.o.S. moneypit. That '86 turbo is practically a classic now, would've been fun to keep around forever, especially in it's mint shape.

Hey man!! The PP springs felt like a great improvement over stock for the first couple thousand miles but then they ate up the Monroe shocks I matched them with. I switched to the Treks just to find they didnt help the ride much, and these WI roads blew one of them out after just 1 year. Those springs are a good option when you want 1.5" of solid lift on a budget...also great for towing. For me, just too stiff. I bet you had fun compressing them for install

The Bilstiens up front (All Pro Offroad coilovers) are excellent!!!!! The OME 890s and soft ride shocks feel pretty nice too although I had originally planned on running LC 7 wraps and LC shocks in the rear...the company just didnt listen and mailed me OME stuff so I went with it.

Honestly, if I could go back a few years I would have just bought the Senoran Steel 1.2 kit, it seems expensive but when you price every thing out seperately and take into account they are sending you all new parts with pre-assembled struts, panhard bar AND diff drop, its a no-brainer. Buy a new, complete kit and save your self $$ and headaches.

No regrets there - if someone breaks into your house and has HOURS to access everything, unless you keep spare keys in a lock box then they were going to be found.

Well, I can't be too regretful- without those Jeeps I wouldn't be half the mechanic I am today.

I do miss the solid front axle though....

Not including inner tie rods with my front axle overhaul...

Why dont change them out now. It's super easy.

Buying E load tires. Regret it every day.

I have those on my 2500 and my back suffers daily.



I'm in the same boat as the others with regrets on the spacer lift. I was just too broke to afford anything else at the time. I still have the front spacers, but i'm working on resolving that as we speak.

I regret not waiting for the right runner to come around. I got cash from totalling a good role Chevy pickup and had to buy fast so I got a 1997. I wish I would have waited for the 99+. Regardless my Runner has 195k miles and runs like a champ and I can't imagine my life without it.

Being in a more lucid state of mind that the other day, I'd say getting the Revo 2's, P rated. Not an awful tire, but there are better ones out there.

I should have coughed up a little more $$$ for some TGs or Duras.

Drilling my "old" style Jaos Spoiler into my rear hatch after being sick and tired of the ugly mounting style, only to have a new and improved design come out a month later :redbrick: Oh well, switching over to the new style anyway.

Buying cheapo 99-02 headlights thinking they would be as good as OEM....hell no!!!

Buying a single-DIN flip out DVD deck. Didn't realize it until after that it would be a pain to adjust the climate controls and use the stupid cup holders with the screen in the way. Have a double DIN so that's good now.

Probably more that I'm forgetting at the moment.
