Relay Wiring

Need some help wiring up a relay. I know this is going to be simple for someone, but not me. I'm trying to wire a normally open switch in place of a normal rocker switch. This is also to do the Andy MOD 2.0 on an 01 4runner. I know I have to use a 5 pin relay, but I'm struggling trying to figure out how to wire it. I'm thinking its something like one of these two.

OK. So it looks like my first picture should be the way to run this.
85- ground
86- power from switch
30- power from fused source
87- in from the red/black wire
87A- out to the red/black wire

I think this should do it. Thanks for that link.

Look at it this way
85= ground
86= power in from actuating switch
30=fused power in
87=normally closed---so when powered it will be powered from the #30 term.
87A+ Normally open---so when powered it will be open with no power from the #30 terminal, but will be powered when the relay is NOT powered up through the terminal 85 and 86 loop.

If its the same as the 4th gen tracs disable.
are you trying to open that line?
send power to it?

both of the diagrams you posted will always keep the relay energized and it will drain your battery.

if you want to open that line, this is how you do it, using it as a grounded switch
-ecu 2 wires go to 30 and 87a
-switch one side go to ground, other side goes to 85
-86 to fused power in
-87 no connection

using a 12 volt to turn on the relay
-switch to fused power on one side
-other side of switch to 86
-85 to ground
-everything else same connection

I figured it out. Had a faulty relay that was keeping it from working.
