OP:
I live and breathe 12 volt everyday. Today i did 4 cars, 1 2015 mercedes GLK remote start, 1 1997 Chevy pickup alarm system, 1 2002 dodge ram 1500 alarm remote starter with drone mobile and just delivered a 2009 nissan versa remote starter. Point is, "I" installed it and provided the hardware. If there are any problems with any of the 4 systems in did today and the countless ones i did in the past. all the customer has to do is call me and say steve, im having a problem. can you help me? when can i bring it in? thats it, im customer service, sales and support all in one.
EBAY? you SOL with no paddle heading towards a water fall!
If a customer brought that in to me, all i can do is stand behind the install. NOT the equipment, if it turns out to be a hardware related issue, the customer will get charged diagnose time @ $65 per hour.
If its a system i installed, i can do lots of things from take from existing stock for warranty to upgrades.
I dont care what system you get nor should anyone else care BUT i would strongly advise you to purchase the hardware and installation from the same place. This will eliminate the blame game. The hardest thing you are going to do is finding a decent shop to do it. Then finding the right hardware you want.
No need to chase the wires. I did a 2015 the other day its the same.
EVO-All says it will do take over.
