anyone have opinion on remote starters. I have a 2015 sr5 and need a remote starter what is best???

I too am curious what's the best option for even my 4th Gen...? Ideally not having to spend $500 or more...?

I've always had good luck with Viper products, or even DEI as a whole for that matter. Some folks swear by CompuStar as well.

I don't care for the toyota factory remote starters. I have to be kinda close to the vehicle for it to function. Thinking about installing an aftermarket one on the new runner before winter.

I'm in the market as well. I've only had experience with viper and they were great. I'm not sure what I will get for the new one. Still looking.

I had the dealership add it to mine before delivery. It was just under $500. It works from the same range the keys do, so from inside the house just fine. Only crappy part is if its not a push button start, soon as you unlock the truck to get in, it shuts off obviously because you have to put the key in. So you just have to start it back up.
