Removal of decorative trim on door panel

Does anybody removed this little (grey) piece of plastic from door panel without breaking anything? I want to wrap this little piece in vinyl and need to take it off and re-install without breaking anything. Little scared to just try and pry it off, is it glued?

I know this is a few years old, but did you ever figure it out?

It's part of the door panel assembly. The tabs behind that hold it are melted on.
You could always just glue it back on after removal.
