Removed running boards and plasti dip bumper.

Since i have three days off for the holiday weekend i thought i would start it of by giving my truck a little love. I removed the running boards,( i would highly suggest a torch). This took about an hour but i am so happy with the results. I figure maybe later this weekend ill get underneath and wire brush the rust off visible parts and hit them with plastidip. I LOVE THE LOOK!!!!

I also gave my rear bumper a shot for plasti dip, it did not come out as well as i had hoped, im not sure exactly what i want to do yet. Anyway here are the pics.

I have two TRD stickers for the rear quarter panels and trd emblem for the grille coming along with clear corners and bumper lights!

You should plasti dip your front bumper and your grill.


And tint those front windows.

Looks great! I've been wanting to plasti dip both of my my chrome bumpers. What don't you like about it?

Good idea on spraying it on the underside too. I might give that a go

Add some lift.

If your not into hardcore off road give it 1.5 - 2.5 Daystar lift , new front and back shocks.
Lift cost - 159.00
Shock cost very , I ended up spending 200.00.

How's the dip holding up on your running boards ? No peeling or chips since its in a area that gets alot of beating and wear ?
