I've seen some threads on here where guys remove the 2nd row seat bottoms to create more cargo space / a space long enough to sleep in. Has anyone made a "shelf" of sorts to level off the cargo area with the seat bottoms out?
I have a trip coming up, and I'm thinking about removing the seat bottoms in order to gain that storage space. But I'd need some way to cover the space so that the dog doesn't keep falling in there.
Also, looks like the 2nd row seat bottoms are easy to remove/re-install - just 4 bolts. Am I missing anything? I don't want to get these out and not be able to re-install them.
