Removing Driving Lights 06 SR5

I know i've seen this topic before, but can't find it using the search function. Is there a way to shut off the orange side/blinker lights w/out removing the blinkers? Stopped the toyota dealership and they said it couldn't be done. Keep in mind i'm no electrician.

Yes, I think its different for 06 and above but it could be the same as my 05, I am sure someone will chime in.
