Removing front fender

Hey guys,

My front drivers side fender has damage so I recently bought one in good shape from a runner being parted out. I am just about to swap them out and wondering if there is any sort of write up out there on removing these with ease? Anything going to give me a pain in the ass before i get started? Thanks guys

I went through this a couple months ago and couldn't find a decent writeup that wasn't filled with expired photos. Ill try and list everything though. My 2001 has:

2 in the door jam
2 near the pinch weld, side by side under the door jam
1 in front of the tire
1 under the headlight
and of course the obvious ones with the hood raised.

There is a couple in front of the tire behind the bumper. If you remove your bumper when you do it you will see them.

I have
1 in the door jam near the side view mirror
2 on the bottom near the bottom of the door jam
3 under the hood
3 near the headlight and bracketry beside it.

Also a few black clips that hold the inner fender guard along with a few associated with the bumper. I believe all 3rd gens would be the same but that's how it is on my 96. Ive taken my fender off several times but I don't have a factory bumper in quite some time.

How much did you pay for the fender if you dont mind me asking? Also ripcord took his off to do his taco whip mod. I think he had pictures.

Alright guys,

In the process of taking my old fender off i managed to strip or snap just about every single f****** bolt. Anyone able to tell me what the size bolts are that hold the fender on? Thank you
