Removing third row seatblets?

Hey everyone.

I'm interested if anyone has removed the third row seatbelts in a 2010 limited? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I had a hard time figuring out how to get loose the lower bolt...mainly access....

Because I helped [MENTION=51186]philsey[/MENTION] today and got some heat from [MENTION=85512]eddiebx[/MENTION], I thought I would pull the interior apart for you so you could see how the belt is attached.

What are you trying to accomplish? Just the belt removal?

Yep.. just the belt removal since I have pups and I dont want them tempted by the lovely fabric. Please tell me I dont have to strip it down to that level to get them out...hah

It's pretty much that or a knife to cut the belt. You'll have to remove the retractor which is behind the upper d pillar panel. Which requires removing the lower piece (black) which requires pulling all the cover panels for the third row.

If it's just temporary, just use masking tape to cover the belt against the interior panels.

I like the tape idea.... Thanks for that. I'm not going to tackle removing all that...
