removing trim for seatbelt

so the plastic trim between the front driver door and the rear pass door that goes half way up, hides the seat belt mechanism etc
How do you remove it ?
I had to get a new door jamb switch, it has a wire on it that plugs into something, but when I pull the old switch out, the wire does not pull far enough to get to or expose the plug

Remove the scuff plates (a couple screws) front and rear, then pull it out towards the center of the truck.

You only need to remove the lower part of the pillar cover, you can leave the upper part alone. The lower just pops out after removing the scuff plates.
