removing valor exhaust tip

Is there any trick to removing this tip other then taking off the clamp and pulling? I removed the clamp but it seems almost attached in some other way... or do I just need to apply a bit more muscle

Muscle baby! Funny u posted that...im lookin at my tip on my desk right now cuz i polished it. Just spray WD40 around the inside and around where the clamp is and then give er hell pulling and twisting and rocking back and forth. That should do it. Just make sure the clamp is losened.

I removed the clamp completely, I was going to remove it to rattle can it black... I'll try the WD40 method and try pulling, no danger in messing up the exhaust i gather?

The worst that could happen is you pull it off a hanger but i dont think youll need to use THAT much force. Just try rockin it and twisting it...that worked for me

Be careful when you rock or twist the tip! You run the risk of bending the actual tailpipe. When I was installing my tip I was not paying close attention to how much torque I put on the clamp. When I took the tip off to inspect the pipe I was surprised at how delicate and pliable the metal was. I accidentally bent the tailpipe a bit with the clamp.
