Just paid for my order.

To be honest, this wasn't that great of a deal. I would have never gone for it had I not already been planning to buy. I ended up spending more than I planned on. Originally was just getting the 50w starter kit for $135 on amazon. The folding part will be a nice feature to have though.

Net result, I think Renogy got the big benefit here.

60w with controller.
Amazon + 2 day shipping $226.79 (after ca tax)
Renogy GB $210.36 (after ca tax)
7% savings

Ordered on the 16th, delivered on the 20th. Pretty quick turnaround. I don't have a picture because I'm back on the road and had my neighbor get the delivery.

Looks like we've gotten 32 orders so far out of the 50 sign ups.

Renogy has agreed to extend the ordering timeframe until the end of the week (05/27/2016) for those who weren't able to order in time or to get on the list.

Those who have already ordered, your orders are currently being shipped out and you should be getting your shipping info shortly.

Yesterday I had to divert mine to my local Fedex store. Going to pick up in a few minutes.

FYI, for those that haven't received it yet, they are being sent out signature required.
 
is anyone else having problems with spam email now?

ever since ordering, my inbox is inundated with spam. I used to get 2-3 a day. now its a couple hundred. as far as I know renogy is the last, and most recent place I have given my email address.

I am not happy. its hard to filter through all the trash, to find the actual emails I need.

Not me.

Here's a tip if you use Gmail. You can create custom email addresses that automatically filter to subfolders in your inbox. That way if you email address ever gets out you know exactly where it came from.

For example, if I order something that requires an email address I'll add a "[email protected]" to my email address. Gmail will automatically create a subfolder for that. If I get a spam email to that subfolder from someone else, I know who to question.

thanks for the tip. I do have a gmail account, but I seldom if ever use it.

im not sure who else it could have came from, but its pretty ridiculous.

I have purchased quite a few panels from renogy the last few years, but they have all been through amazon. this was the first time going directly through them.
