Renting a 4Runner or Sequoia at Denver airport?

I've got a bunch of family meeting up in Denver in November and I'm looking to rent a 4Runner or Sequoia to haul 5 of us with luggage around for a week.

Anyone know of any rental companies/dealers that I can get a price quote from? So far Google is not helping me (or I'm just not searching right) ...

Looks like Stapp Interstate Toyota-Scion, Inc. is the only rental dealer near Denver. Will have to reach out to them if they do an airport pickup/dropoff.

Perhaps you've set your sights too high - I'd think a Suburban/et al would be easier to find?

Just doing the research at the moment, but since we're driving it to Wyoming, I have thought about 5ppl in a 4R as being a tight fit.

Just need something with some ground clearance and 4wd in case we get snow on the mountain. If the cost runs too high for a single vehicle I'll simply look for 2 smaller 4wd/awd vehicles.

Thank you for your interest in the Toyota Rent-A-Car program. Unfortunately I don't think that we are going to be your best option for renting a vehicle. We don't have a 4Runner or Sequoia in our rental fleet nor do we offer pick-up/drop-off at Denver Int'l Airport. Our rental cars are typically used by service customers who need alternative transportation while their vehicle is being repaired. One of the major rental car companies located at DIA would be your best bet.

Back about 2 years ago the wife and I went to Montana in march for some snowboarding. I wanted to make sure if it snowed I could still comfortably go and do as I pleased.There was only one rental company that could guarantee that I would have a 4 wheel drive vehicle and it ended up being a salsa red 12' runner sr5. Unfortunately I don't remember which one it was. I ended up just having to physically call the places because there websites weren't clear enough.

As of a month or so ago, Stapp didn't have business/leisure as an option. I was looking for my wife's sister to get a rental Venza before buying, but didn't have any luck as they only did service/body shop rental.

They're also 30 miles from the airport, so a pickup from DIA isn't going to happen.

Relay rides or Getaround is your best bet. It's a car sharing option.

If you settle for something less particular, I'd consider renting off airport. DIA takes advantage. I saved hundreds after renting a taxi to a rental place in town. One way rental to airport. Much cheaper.

Definitely do Lyft over a taxi if that is the case. I live next to the airport - 15 miles or so and it cost me $40+ for a taxi. I would hate to see what it costs to go 8 miles further into downtown.
