I need to replace the knock sensor on my 1990 4runner. I got the rig with no distributer and evrey time I almost got the timing set it throws the code retards timing and makes it run rich as hell. How would one go on changing the sensor and I also have a oil leak up front that I believe is coming from the front crank seal. Are either of these a common problem? And while I am doing the knock sensor would it be a good idea to do valve cover gaskets? The engine is the 3vze. Thanks in advance.
