Repairing the Passenger Side Rear Lower Control Arm Rusty Mount.

Thats a solid repair! I did one not too long ago on the drivers side, had to drop the tank that was fun. But ordered the same piece from Safe T Cap and got it welded in there, it was a good day and a half of work. I have another one that has the front passenger frame section that needs replaced and plan to order from Safe T Cap as well.

I did the drivers side around 2018 or 2019. Every suspension twitch after that I was expecting to find the other side falling off.

Were you able to bottom out your sleeve against the bottom of the frame?

Both sides I had a 3/16-1/4” gap like the sleeve was a hair too narrow for the frame width.

I cut most of the bottom of the frame off the repair portion went over 2-4 inches of the outsides of the frame and the bottom is the new steel.

I should have done that but didn’t want to figure out how to support the frame so it wouldn’t sag
