Replaced spark plugs and ignition coils now will barely start and dies immediately

Make sure your MAF wire harness is plugged in.

I assume you took your intake off, make sure everything is connected correctly and you don't have any vacuum leaks.

intake doesn't need to be removed to do plugs. remove those crap autolite plugs and put in some densos and original coils. see what you get then.

I'm assuming folks are referring to the air intake pipe, not the manifold.

My money is still on MAF plug until the OP says otherwise.

Rechecked installation

I did find one electrical connection that wasnt made, it was not the MAF. I did go ahead and check all the connections at this point. It did start up and idle but still runs very rough, not quite as bad as before but certainly not good. I did stop by Toyota and got OEM plugs but may just leave the new ones I installed. Thanks for everyone's input.

Have you checked that you've got all the vacuum hoses connected and leak free?

No. I did disconnect for about 30 minutes prior after it didn't start.

So much for the adaptives going away and it needing to relearn cold start idling etc.
