Hey all... before I start, I've made some kickass changes to my rig and all thanks to the advice I've gotten here... When the wife took it to get the oil changed the other day (another question y'all have answered) the guy at the oil change place said "if there's ever a zombie apocalypse, this is the vehicle you want". Thank you all.
On to the question.
I'm taking the running boards off to put steps on (I don't want nerf bars, I want steps), but there's an issue. Most of the ones I've seen (on the internet and on the road) don't have the step where we want them. On the front set of doors the steps are always too far forward. I've gotten in and out of other guys' trucks and the step just doesn't seem useful because it's too far forward.
Am I the only one who thinks this way? If not and anyone out there agrees with me, is anyone aware of a brand of steps that sit in a more useable position, that doesn't require drilling?
Thanks in advance as always.
